Deborah Riese Maus, Vice President and Controller
Deborah Maus currently serves as Grande Communication’s Vice President and Controller, managing all aspects of accounting functions, external financial reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Prior to joining Grande in 2007, Deborah was the Assistant Controller – Financial Reporting for La Quinta Corporation in San Antonio, TX. She was responsible for both internal and external financial reporting and worked on two significant acquisition transactions ($400 million and $1 billion), and four rounds of public equity and debt transactions. Prior to working for La Quinta Corporation, Deborah spent six years in public accounting, finishing as audit manager for KPMG LLP. She is a 1996 Summa Cum Laude BBA graduate in Accounting from Texas State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
