During his 25 years in the communications industry, Harris Bass has excelled in the development and construction of cable system operations across the country. As General Manager at Grande, Bass oversees the daily operations and policies for the San Marcos and Austin offices. Before joining Grande, Bass served as the Vice President of Operations for Security Broadband, an Internet-based security application. He began his career at Prime Cable as a financial analyst. Over the course of his distinguished career, Bass gained experience throughout the country managing cable systems in Massachusetts, New Jersey, North Carolina and Nevada, where for eight years he managed the daily operations of the 10th largest cable system in the U.S. with more than 300,000 customers and 500 employees. Bass has held board member positions on the North Carolina Cable Telecommunications Association, the Nevada State Telecommunications Association, Nextlink Communications and Las Vegas One news channel. Originally from McAllen and Fort Worth, Texas, Bass graduated from the University of Texas in 1979 with a BA in Business Administration.
